 ITINERARY:

DAY 1 – ROME

Transfer from the airport in ROME to the Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Return to your hotel and get ready to be picked-up at 6:30 p.m. for a tour of illuminated Rome. Discover the magic and charm of the most famous monuments viewed under another light. You will then be whisked away to dine in a quaint trattoria serving you the most traditional delicacies. Buon Apetito! After dinner return to the hotel (or nearby), and overnight. (D)

DAY 2 – ROME

After breakfast, get ready to enter into the legend! The Colosseum! You will be picked up from your hotel front desk/ lobby and embark on a journey through the Colosseum, into the Roman forum and Palantine hill of course always lead by your professional and expert guide. Gain privileged priority entrance to the archaeological area you’ll have headsets to better hear your guide. Afternoon free at leisure (perhaps include a culinary experience or additional sight seeing tour such as the Vatican- ask for our discounted guided skip-the line tickets!) Return to the hotel on your own, (dinner not included) and overnight. (B)

DAY 3 – ROME/NAPLES/POMPEII/SORRENTO

Buongiorno! Meet your tour conductor early in the morning (aprox. 7:00 a.m.) from your hotel and journey onto NAPLES by coach with a multilingual tour leader. Upon arrival in Naples our local guide will take you for a walking tour of the historical centre to admire the Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, the Gallery of Umberto I, and the San Carlo Opera House, stop for lunch where you will enjoy typical Neapolitan specialties such as ”mozzarella, salami, pizza or pasta” (soft drinks included). From Naples, continue to POMPEII, and enjoy a short visit to a coral and cameo factory, followed by a visit of the excavations of this ancient Roman city which was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvio in 79 B.C. and buried under 4 to 6 meters of ash and stones. Proceed to Sorrento, a charming town of the Sorrentine Peninsula famous for the cultivation of Oranges, Lemons and Olives trees. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (B/L/D)

DAY 4 – SORRENTO/CAPRI/ROME

After breakfast, departure at 08:00 a.m. to the island of CAPRI. You will board the ferry and arrive in Marina Grande. Once on the island you will visit, the Blue Grotto (weather permitting), the Augustus Gardens and stop at the famous Piazzetta. A Minibus will take you up to Anacapri. After lunch in Anacapri, you will return to Marina Grande where you will board the ferry. Once on land you will be transferred to Rome by coach. Arrival at the hotel or nearest point at about 9.00 p.m. Overnight in Rome. Dinner is not included. (B/L)

DAY 5 – ROME
