Buonavista – 7 Day

DAY 1 – ROME

Arrival into Rome Fiumicino Airport, transfer to the hotel, check.in. Get orientated with ancient Roma! Stroll around the surrounding area, return to the hotel for some well-deserved rest- tomorrow you embark on the ancient paths of the eternal city!

DAY 2 – ROME

Today you will visit Enter inside St Peter’s Basilica, Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel with no waiting in line! Meet your tour guide in the Vatican area and discover the masterpieces of Rome. Your friendly and professional tour guides will lead you to discover the splendid Galleries, Sistine Chapel, and the monumental Basilica. After a light lunch (included) The second part of your journey awaits! You will enjoy  a complete walking tour of the Colosseum, Roman forum and Capitoline hill lead by professional and experts guides. Gain your privileged priority entrance to the archaeological area. you’ll have headsets to better hear your guide. Get ready to enter into the legend!

DAY 3 – ROME/ ASSISI/ SIENA/ FLORENCE

Depart at 7:15am from hotel Diana by a deluxe coach, arrive in Assisi, explore this tiny town, surrounded by walls built in the middle ages, at your leisure. Take time to visit the basilica of St. Francis, where you will see masterpieces by Giotto and Ciambue, and have lunch (not included).Board the bus for Siena, a medieval town surrounded by ancient walls that is known for the Palio, an annual summertime horse race around the shell-shaped town square, Piazza del Campo. Next, continue on to Florence, check in to your hotel before enjoying dinner and overnight.

DAY 4 – FLORENCE

After breakfast, spend the day venturing around beautiful Florence, where, thanks to Michelangelo, Italian art reached its pinnacle. You will be fascinated by its numerous monuments, churches, and buildings, like Santa Maria del Fiore (the Duomo) and its magnificent dome built by Filippo Brunelleschi. Cross a small piazza to see the campanile tower (partly designed by Giotto) and the baptistery, with its bronze doors, the “gates of paradise.” See Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo della Signoria (Palazzo Vecchio), and the basilica of Santa Croce. Spend the afternoon strolling the cobblestone streets of Florence on your own or take a short trip to Pisa (optional). Dinner and overnight.

Experience and appreciate the uniqueness and splendour of the city on this comprehensive tour. In the morning you will start with a walking tour. with a two-hour itinerary you’ll follow a fascinating sightseeing route lined with important monuments as you’ll learn the history of Venice from its origins to the modern-day. Enter the “Golden Basilica” in St. Mark’s Square with skip-the-line entrance tickets. In the afternoon remeet the group at the same meeting point – your Gondola awaits you!
