About the Villa

Vale Travesso is a charming property, of the original ´Ribatejo architecture and very close to Santarém (8 kms)
A true family countryside estate with an elegant, cozy atmosphere, classic and light country décor. Fully equipped, very spacious and perfect for a relaxed holiday and not very
distannt from Lisbon (40 minutes) and other points of interest to develop further.
The house with an area of 330 m2 is spread over a large living and dining area with a fireplace and views of the garden. The fully equipped kitchen is fully equipped with
dishwasher. There is also a washing machine. It has cable channels and WIFI.
It is a single-level house, and the large entrance hall separates the common areas from the private areas. Here we find 6 rooms, with capacity for 10 people. They are 3 double
bedrooms, 2 twin and a small single more suitable for children or young people (10 + 1). Two bathrooms, one with a bathtub another one with shower cabin. There is also a cloakroom.
Leaving the house we cross the planes garden towards the swimming pool that we see ahead, surrounded by green shrubs and cypresses. A covered area with rustic wooden
running table is the ideal spot for alfresco dining and grills.
Next to the pool there is a house with kitchen support (water and fridge), and a games area with ping pong and table football.
Countryside surroundings, enjoying privacy, thus not secluded. Housekeepers who provide support and take care of the property live in a separate house, away and facing
opposite the leisure areas, only come to contact at times of necessary assistance. With a surrounding of olive trees cypresses and planes. The pool area is gated by shrubs walls
and a fence/gate.
There are innumerable moments of exploration and experiences of wine and food.
Some of the destinations nearby- Lisbon, Santarém, Óbidos, Praia (Foz do Arelho), Fatima, Évora. The region has an excellent gastronomic offer (meat dishes from Ribatejo or
Fish and Seafood from the Coast, Peniche) and wines from Ribatejo and Oeste are experiences not to be missed.

– Cleaning on arrival with a change of towels mid week and linen change every 8 days
