About the Villa

Quinta Da Luar, Casa Do Barco and Casa Da Fruta are part of the one same 33 Hectare Wine Estate with wine production in Minhos heart of Vinho Verde region.
8kms from Ponte de Lima and 8 kms from Ponte Da Barca.
With good road connections, A3 the motorway to Porto is 6kms (and Porto is a 45 minute drive) 40kms to the beach and to Viana do Castelo, a 30 minute drive. The quinta dates bacjk from the 18th century and its main activity is the wine production, it is part of the Vinho Verde route. Barco Do Lima is one independent house with its private grounds, enclosed and with its own private swimming pool.

It is a rustic countryside house rebuilt and refurbished with stone and wood being the dominant materials.

Quinta Do Luar and Casa Da Fruta are next to Barca Da Lima and also have their own garden and pool. ( Same for Luar and Fruta). Quinta Do Luar is the noble house of the estate and Casa Da Fruta an annex converted into
a 3 bedroom house.
Both have been rebuilt and refurbished . Quinta Do Luar has naturally the charm of a manor house with a beautiful work or restoration, maintaining its original features and creating the same noble atmosphere of the original house.
Quinta Do Luar has 4 bedrooms (2 doubles and 2 twins) all with ensuite bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, 8 persons. ( First floor).

The lower level of the house has further bedrooms but it is not included in the rental and is closed.
Casa Da Fruta is a 3 bedroom house, Light, bright and colourful inside and maintaining the exterior features of a traditional minho stone house. Kitchen, dining and sitting room on the ground floor.
Cable TV in the lounge and 3 bedrooms on teh first level, one double with ensuite shower and 2 twins sharing one bathroom, 6 persons.

Additional Information

• Should Luar and Fruta be let together as 7 bedrooms, the pool and garden is fully private. The lower floor of Luar is not used and is closed to the public.
• Therer is also the possibility to rent each of the units seperately (Quinta do Lua and Casa Da Fruta or Barca Do Lima) however this will mean that the pool would be shared with the guests of the other house and the lower level apartment of Luar
• Laundry service can be arranged on request
