Paros Island Tour – PAS03

Full day bus and boat tour – explore Paros Island

Walk through the old town towards the Venetian castle (13th century) and the church of Saint Konstantinos & Eleni which is situated on the highest spot of Parikia town.

Take a short walk towards the most famous and one of the oldest churches of Greece, Panagia Ekatontapyliani (our lady of the hundred doors), built around 400 AC. From here the bus take us to the port of Pounta where we take the ferry to cross over to Antiparos. We stroll through the picturesque little town and visit the Venetian fortress (15th century) which is still inhabited.

Back to Paros, with the bus go to the south where we pass by the villages of Alyki and Drios. Then reach Pisso Livadi, on the east coast of the island, have a break with free time to eat or swim.

Reach Lefkes, the former capital of Paros, with its lots of green and its breathtaking view. Pass by Marathi, where the ancient marble quarries were located, where the world famous marble was mined for some of the most known statues and sculptures in ancient times (e.g. the Venus of Milos).

In the afternoon, arrive in Naoussa, the beautiful fishing village with all its Cycladic charm. We take a little walk through its small streets and the port with the colorful fishing boats.
