About the Villa

The province of Ribatejo is well known for the tradition of horse and cattle breeding, horseback riding art and bullfights. A Bullfight arena (Praça de Touros) is found in almost every village: Almeirim, Chamusca and Santarem.

Santtarem set near teh Tagus river is a Gothic Architecture centre with various points of interest to visit. This is a region of both marsh and heath land. It is worth exploring the river side of Tagus, the Almoral Castle , Santarem, thevillages and of course the regional food and wines.

Not to miss a visit to the Montargil Dam where windsurf, swimming , Jet ski, sailing along with other water sports are available..

Casal Do Choutinho is a traditional architecture property set on a hectare of land, 200 metres from the small village of Chouto amidst countryside rural landscape. Surrounded by a fruit orchard and cork trees , it is indeed a choice for a relaxed peaceful Holiday.

Casal Do Choutinho is a one level villa featuring 3 bedrooms ( 1 Double, 2 Twin) 2 bathrooms ( one with onsuite twin and a further bathroom for the other two bedrooms)

A countryside style opn plan wooden beam ceiling living room and kitchen, opening to the Alfresco covered eating area with Barbeque , balcony, pool and sun terrace.
