Two friends that always shared the passion for Azores.
Two friends that got together willing to share with the world such a singular and magical place, made of little details that make it simply unique.
The luxurious landscapes, the vibrant blue of the sea and the empathy of the Azorean people conquered this two nature lovers that, together, decided to create a resort where the nature was a leading and integral part and where the people that visit us could feel at home, while enjoying the best experiences that this destination has to offer, in a comfortable and relaxed way.
Santa Bárbara is, therefore, a resort where the detail and the care with the nature were not left to chance.

Between the mountains and the sea!
Placed in the middle of the mountains and the sea, the Santa Bárbara Eco-Beach Resort offers the best experiences from both worlds, between the contemplation of the mountain sheltering the famous Lagoa do Fogo and the relaxing Santa Bárbara beach, with over half a mile of sand.
Both families and adventure lovers are able to enjoy an infinite number of experiences that will fill you with the mystic of “living Azores”, since the pedestrian tours, to the adrenaline of using a surfboard for the first time, or to just contemplate our unique blue and green landscape.

At your disposal to serve you!
In Santa Barbara Eco-Beach Resort, the restaurant “Areais” and the bar receive you with local products and a breathtaking view over Santa Barbara’s beach. Between June and October, you can also enjoy our Beach Club “Areais”, which offers you all the facilities while you’re visiting the beach.
The exterior saltwater swimming pool serves as a retreat, where you can relax with the soothing sound of the sea waves, which is also the scenary for a massage at our cabana in front ot the sea. Besides our reception service, in every one of the Villas you have at your disposal the “Fill your fridge” service, and through an ipad you will be able to book any activity or service.
With no need of an intermediary, you will be able to choose between tours, massages or even the transfer service, everything built to make your stay even more comfortable, attending your every need.
