VENDICARI/ MARZAMEMI (Half Day)

Meeting with our driver in Hotel and depart to Vendicari Nature Reserve. Situated amongst beautiful beaches of fine sand and large saltwater marshes, Vendicari is the most important wildlife oasis in Italy. It is the destination for many migratory birds en route to Africa and home to many plant species that grow on the dunes and cliffs. Continue to Marzamemi, a small fishing village looking out over the Ionian Sea. Here you can visit the ruins of the Tonnara, an ancient structure used to catch tuna. Back to your Hotel in Ragusa.

All the above excursions include a private car 1/2 seats or Minivan 3/7 seats at disposal according to the program chosen. For small groups from 3 to 7 people please refer to our Private Tours Offer in our Confidential.
We suggest to book a local guide HD (max 2 hours) for the visit of Piazza Armerina and also in Agrigento (to meet on the spot). You can also book a FD (max 8 hours) local guide for the whole day Segesta/Erice/Selinunte” or a HD (max 4 hours) local guide for the visit of Cefalù.
Important: a English Speaking Driver is a chauffeur specialized to drive you around Sicily. He is able to provide basic historical information and show you the main highlights. However, our English Speaking driver is not a Licensed Tourist Guide (Licensed Tourist Guide: are the only professionals -- with a Regional license -- permitted to conduct visits and tours in all sites and museums within a city) and he cannot escort you inside the monuments because this is not allowed by Italian Rules.
On request, you can hire a Licensed Tourist Guide, paying the supplement to have this extra service and generally meet your local guide on the spot to visit Churches, Museums and/or Archaeological Sites
