Built in the late fifteenth century and rebuilt three centuries later, there seems to be no doubt that it was Palácio dos Arcos (in English, Palace of the Arches) that gave the name to Paço de Arcos village.

This 5-star boutique hotel opened in 2013 and has poetry as the dominant theme for its decoration, which combines history and tradition of a century palace with the comfort and modernity of a current hotel.
