The Vineyard was rebuilt from an early 19th century ruin. As a selfcatering holiday villa or a perfect spot for a week-end getaway (rates per night on request),

The villa has high standards of privacy, comfort and service.

Overlooking the terraced vineyards landscape the house maintains its rural character yet combined with a touch of modern architecture.
Between vineyards and olive groves, the villa is an ideal starting point to discover the wonders of this World Heritage Site. We hope to contribute to your relaxing holidays in this
attractive region in Northern Portugal.
Located in the heart of the Douro Valley, the home of port wine, this wonderfully restored property occupies a superb location 850 metres above the Douro River, with
extraordinary views across the terraced, tree-clad hillsides. Seven km away, on the north bank of the river, Pinhao is the nearest town. There are several cafés, simple
restaurants, stores dealing in port industry souvenirs. From the peer of Pinhao you can revel in nostalgic narrow gauge railway journeys or river cruises. In the nearby village of
Provesende you’ll find a fantastic typical restaurant serving delicious local dishes.
The Vineyard is a house of considerable charm having been lovingly rebuilt from the ruins of an old house with a style that mixes contemporary elegance with rural tradition.

Clad in beautiful schist stone walls, the air-conditioned living room is a spacious, cosy room with gorgeous views and antique furnishings with a formal dining table beside the stone
wall and wood burning fire. From the well equipped kitchen, breakfast is included and a superb cook service is available meaning you can sample some delicious homemade
Portuguese cuisine in the comfort of your own villa. An open staircase climbs to three warm and rustic first floor bedrooms, furnished with exquisite taste. There are two charming
en-suite doubles, both accessing a handsome, closed stone balcony with fantastic views, plus a twin with en suite shower. The swimming pool is at this level too, with quite
stunning views. Beside the pool is a leisure room with a pool table, lovely ceramics and relics of the port wine industry.

views, study. Exterior: games room with snooker table, swimming pool, barbecue area, laundry, separate wc, panoramic terraces, private parking.
Equipment: air conditioning/heating, Satellite TV, Free wifi Internet, Sun beds and towels. Fire protection system. Solar panels.

– A Breakage deposit paid on arrival is 350€
