Learn how to cook famous Santorinian dishes while enjoying a glass of Assyrtiko white wine!
The first approach to the native Santorini grape varieties and their volcanic characteristics. The guided tour is presented by a sommelier. It begins with Santorini’s history, the assyrtiko aroma table, it continues to the cement, clay and stainless-steel egg-shaped tanks. The tour is completed at the Afoura barrels cellar.
Then the chef will give you guidelines on how to master the timeless Greek cuisine. During the interactive cooking class the participants will cook Santorinian salad, fava, tomato fritters, moussakas with white Santorinian eggplant, while they enjoy a glass of Assyrtiko white whine. At the end of the lesson everyone enjoys all the cooked recipes and have an introduction of Santorinian wines through a wine tasting of a sommelier.
