CASTELBUONO & CEFALÙ: ABBAZIA SANTA ANASTASIA WINERY (Full Day)

In the morning, depart to Castelbuono. Visit of the Abbazia Santa Anastasia, the main wine producer in the Madonie area. Some of its wines have won prizes in international fairs. Tour of the winery with explanation of the wine making process + the tasting of 2 red wines and 2 white wines. Time at leisure in Castelbuono and lunch on your own. Enjoy a typical Sicilian products tasting (Panettone, artisanal licors) at the famous “Fiasconaro” pastry shop. In the afternoon, depart to Cefalù, a charming coastal town, a former fishing village, which is also home to a breath taking Norman Cathedral with dazzling mosaics. Return to Palermo in the late afternoon.
