CASTLE RESIDENCE DELL'OSCANO (CODE U)

This is an old farm-house property which includes the magnificent Neo-Gothic Oscano Castle, immersed in the quiet tranquil hills of Umbria, with its special atmosphere of art and culture. At this farm a large rotating mill stone (still in place but no longer in use) would make wonderful olive oil. The farm continues to produce the finest olives, making high quality olive oil. The restaurant offers authentic Umbrian cuisine in a delightfully elegant atmosphere. Enjoy your drinks in the comfort of the library and other sitting rooms. The swimming pool is situated in a most wonderful position where one can best enjoy the warmth of the sun and the spectacular views. This pool is exclusively for the Castle and Villa Ada guests. Cooking lessons on the Castle premises: The chef organizes cooking lessons in the traditional Italian way in the wine shop, the group will also have an opportunity for wine-tasting. IL CASTELLO The Castle is a period residence plunged in the tranquillity of the verdant Umbrian hills. The rooms are simply and elegantly decorated, and equipped with every comfort. There are between 11 suites and junior suites of about 40-50 square meters, all of them furnished with the lovely antique style of the 17-18th century.
VILLA ADA Villa Ada is a late nineteenth-century residence next to the Castle, situated just 10 meters away. It has 21 four star quality medium-sized rooms with elegant classical antique-style furniture and warm wood paneling and brickwork on the walls. In an old part of the stables there is a small gym with excercise machines. The gym and the sauna are open to all guests at no extra charge.
LA MACINA DELL'OSCANO A farmhouse surrounded by about 250 hectares of a centuries-old tree park. It has been restructured into 13 self-contained flats. Each apartment has all comforts, including a kitchen with all implements, and color satellite TV. In every apartment you can request 1 extra bed, at extra cost. Facilities include outdoor swimming-pool, 2 horse-back riding schools, tennis courts at one mile, a fishing lake and a 27 hole golf green. There is a minimum stay of one week, Sat. to Sat. 2 Pers. APT (38m2) Bedroom with double bed and sofa that may become (on request) 2 twin beds, private bathroom and shower. 4 Pers. APT ( 45m2) 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds, and sofa that may become (on request) a single bed, a private bathroom and shower. 5 Pers.
