Itinerary

Day 1 - Rome/Naples/Pompeii/Sorrento
Early morning departure from Rome for Naples, where a short visit of the town is featured. Then on to Pompeii, the famous Roman city destroyed by the volcanic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Lunch in a local restaurant, and afterwards, visit of the excavations (approximately 2 hours). Proceed on to Sorrento. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 - Sorrento/Capri/Rome
Continental breakfast (high season, buffet in low season). Departure to Capri by ferry. Weather and sea conditions permitting, visit the Blue Grotto. Return to Marina Grande and then transfer to Anacapri. Lunch in a typical restaurant followed by a visit of Augustus’ Gardens with a view of the Faraglioni. Return to Rome, at approx. 9:30pm. Note: Maximum 1 piece of luggage per person.
