Bettona (PG)
Ideally located in the midst of Umbria, only 20km from the beautiful and historical towns of Perugia and Assisi. The farmhouse dates back to the XIX century and has been completely restored, maintaining its original characteristics. It is situated in a spectacular 600-hectare estate of Mediterranean woods and olive trees. Each room has private bathroom, telephone, TV, antique furniture and lovely decorative accents. Facilities include 2 swimming pools, lake for sport fishing, tennis courts and horseback riding. The restaurant offers handmade and genuine products (bread, pasta, cakes and biscuits) and typical Umbrian country cuisine.

Set between the Arno valley and the Chianti Hills, 27km from Florence, looking over a landscape of vineyards and cypress-lined fields. The original farmhouse was built by Vallombrosa monks around 1400 and is now an excellent and comfortable place to stay. Facilities include two swimming pools (1 for adults, 1 for children), two bars, a tennis court, playground, billiard room, bowling green, horseback riding and mountain bike rental. Golf courses nearby. The rooms have either a balcony or patio garden with table and chairs for dining outdoors. In the outdoor pizzeria and in the Tuscan restaurant one can try genuine products of the farm such as wine, olive oil, honey, Vin Santo and Grappa. |
