ITINERARY
Day 1 - Venice
Arrival and transfer to the hotel on your own. Day at leisure. Overnight stay.
Day 2 - Venice
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning walking tour (meeting point at 9:00am at Piazza San Marco, tourism office near Museum) visiting the Doge’s Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, St. Mark’s Square and Cathedral. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 3 - Venice/Florence
Breakfast at the hotel. At an indicated hour, transfer to train station on your own for departure by train to Florence. Overnight stay in Florence
Day 4 - Florence
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure (optional Pisa or Siena or San Gimignano). Overnight stay.
Day 5 - Florence/Rome
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning tour (at 9:15am meeting at Piazza Stazione) visiting the Duomo, the Baptistery with the Golden Doors by Ghiberti, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Academy of Fine Arts with the original statue of “David” by Michelangelo, and Piazza della Signoria. Late afternoon (4-4:30pm) departure by bus for Rome. Overnight stay.
Day 6 - Rome
Breakfast at hotel. Pick up at 7:45am for morning tour visiting the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon (except on Monday), Piazza Navona. Afternoon at leisure and overnight stay.
Day 7 - Rome
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day free for personal activities and optional sightseeing. Overnight stay.
Day 8 - Rome
Breakfast at the hotel. End of services.
