 ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival at Rome Airport and private transfer in Hotel. Rest of the day free to discover the Eternal City at your choice or with our optional
sightseeing tour. Accomodation in hotel.
Day 2: Breakfast in hotel. Starting from the morning combined package “Panoramic Open Bus Tour” + “Mini Cruise on River Tiber”.
Regarding the Panoramic tour (hop on / hop off) you will find all
details and timetables in hotel upon arrival. Regarding the Mini cruise
on River Tiber (approximately 1 hour & 15 minutes) you have to be at
10.45 at “Ponte S. Angelo” (on the opposite site of Castel S. Angelo)
and give the voucher to have pass to the boat. IMPORTANT: The mini
cruise is available from Wednesdays to Sundays included ONLY, if “Day 02” is Monday or Tuesday we will be forced to change itinerary.
The Panoramic open Tour can take a couple of hours or thw whole day
if you want, it is at your totally free choice.
Rest of the day at leisure. Accommodation in Hotel.
Day 3: Breakfast in hotel. In the morning meeting at 09.20 in Piazza Del
Popolo (on the steps of Santa Maria del Popolo Church – see picture
below) to join the exclusive “Angels & Demons “sightseeing tour.
Based on the book by Dan Brown, this is the only official Angels and
Demons tour (4 hours). The treasure-hunt like romp through the Eternal
city follows the path of the "Illuminati" visits S. Maria del Popolo
Church, Piazza del Popolo, St. Peter's Square, S. Maria della
VittoriaChurch, Pantheon, Piazza della Minerva, Piazza Navona
and Castel Sant'Angelo.
The tour will finish at 13.30 approximately (in Vatican City area), rest
of the day at leisure for relax or for optional tours as half day “Imperial Rome” or the very interesting “Trastevere and Jewish
Ghetto” tour etc. Accommodation in Hotel.
Day 4. Breakfast in hotel and free day in Rome. Time leisure for relax or for
optional excursions as full day in Florence or Naples-Pompeii or
Naples-Capri etc. Accommodation in Hotel.
Day 5. Breakfast in hotel and free day in Rome. Time leisure for relax or for
optional tours in city centre as “Classic Rome” or “Vatican Museums”
or some of our full day tour inside Rome with lunch included.
In the evening meeting at 21.00 on the steps of St. Andrea della Valle
(located in Corso Vittorio Emanuele II) to join the new “Ghosts &
Mistery” sightseeing tour. A night-time walking tour, based on history,
legends, mysteries and Ghost stories, points out the lesser known sights
in Rome’s historic center that any passer-by would easily missed. The
tour wanders through the areas surrounding Campo de’ Fiori and
Piazza Farnese including Via Giulia, Via del Governo Vecchio and
Castel Sant’Angelo. Accomodation in Hotel.
Day 6: Breakfast in hotel. Starting from the morning you will have the chance to
join the Time Elevator Attraction. The first time machine that will lead
you straight to the past of the “Eternal City”. The Legend of Romulus
and Remus, the assassination of Julius Caesar, Nero and Michelangelo
during the the works of the Sistine Chapel. It will be possible to assist to
the virtual reconstruction of the historical monuments like the
Colosseum, the Temple of Vesta, the Baths of Caracalla up to the
beauty of Rome during the Renaissance and Baroque.....and much more!
It's a unique experience, with three movie screens , audio Dolby
surround, and special effects like rain, wind etc..., and the modern flight
simulator with moving platforms make the spectator be part of it. (45
minutes). Afternoon at leisure. In the evening you will have an
unforgettable experience .... you have tkts for “Terrazza delle
Quadrighe” (at the top of Monument for the Unknow Soldier – Piazza
Venezia) overlooking Rome at 360°. It is an open day voucher, you can
go whenever you want during the day but, when possible, we strongly
suggest to go there in late evening in order to admire un unforgettable
sunset on the masterpiecies of Rome.
After this what is the better way to end the day ?? A wine tasting in the
very city centre. In same area you will have wine tasting and aptetizers
at restaurant Wine Bar “The Glass” (new design wine bar at walking
distance from the Unknow Soldier). Accommodation in hotel.
Day 7: Breakfast in hotel and free day in Rome. Time leisure for relax or for
optional tours . In the moning you can join our new “Vatican City”
tour. In the afternoon you have a lot of choices. You may join the new “Crypts & Catacombs” tour or the “Roman Countryside” tour or as well.
In the evening (at 20.00 / 20.30 about) you will have a dinner in the
typical Restaurant – Pizzeria “La Gallina Bianca” in Termini train
station area (it is one the best “Pizzeria” throughout Rome city centre).
You may have a very original “Pizza Menu” or a typical Roman dinner,
both with drinks included. It's up to your choice, just ring us one day
before the dinner and inform your preference. Accommodation in hotel.
Day 8: Breakfast in hotel. Private transfer to Rome airport or to train station. End
of the Tour or start of a new one for another Italian city. |
