Tour meets at office at 7:30am, departs at 7:45am.
ITINERARY
Day 1: Rome/Naples/Pompeii/ Sorrento
Early morning departure from Rome for Naples, where a short visit of the town is featured. Then on to Pompeii, the famous Roman city destroyed by the volcanic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Lunch in a local restaurant, and afterwards, visit of the excavations. Proceed on to Sorrento. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Sorrento
Buffet breakfast. Day at leisure in Sorrento. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Sorrento/Capri/Rome
Buffet breakfast. Departure to Capri by steamer. Weather conditions permitting, visit the Blue Grotto. Return to Marina Grande and then transfer to Anacapri. Lunch in a typical restaurant followed by a visit of Augustus' Gardens, with a view of the Faraglioni. Return to Rome at approx. 9:30pm. |
