The land of the Etruscan civilization, of gentle hills which gradually unfold toward the coast giving way to century-old olive groves and renowned vineyards fed by a generously lingering sun. It is an enchanting landscape engrossed in the charms of ancient civilizations and traditions.

The Resort has 96 rooms, junior suites and suites facing the sea or the gardens. All are slightly different in shape and in the matching of colors and materials to satisfy a variety of personal tastes and needs: from ethnic furnishings, to bathrooms completely decorated in mosaic, from warm sand shades which evoke the desert to modern white furniture and abstract paintings, from oriental pastel tints, rattan futons afrom warm sand shades which evoke the desert to modern white furniture and abstract paintings, from oriental pastel tints, rattan futons and arabesque decors to traditional warm beige walls with paintings of the Tuscan countryside. The Hotel also features 3 rooms for the physically challenged.

The restaurant assures its Guests quality, variety and tradition. With its adjoining Wine Bar lounge and the large outdoor terrace overlooking the sea, the ground floor Restaurant is the ideal environment to discover and taste the art of the local cuisine combined with Mediterranean and International flavours. The main ingredients are olive oil produced in Castagneto Carducci, meat from the local cattle farms, typical local game like wild boar, cheese of local production and of course fish from the nearby Gulf of Baratti. Low calorie recipes are available too, in agreement with the wellness philosophy of this Lifestyle Resort. To go along with these naturalrecipes the restaurant of the Resort offers its guests a wide selection of national and international wines of the highest quality. Almost 300 labels among which, of course, the best Bolgheri wines. The Wine Bar also offers the possibility of a snack or light brunch in-between SPA treatments. The menu features soups, sandwiches, salads and desserts as well as buffet lunches during the fall and winter seasons. If you wish to bring back a genuine piece of Tuscan land, the Wine Bar also functions as a wine shop.

Only a few steps from the building, the Resort's sandy beach extends for 200 meters. It is safeguarded by our beach staff and equipped with sun umbrellas, chaises longues and sun beds. The outside swimming pool is a sea water lagoon surrounded by vegetation set in a corner of the garden to guarantee the Guests' privacy. It is the ideal area for a soothing break amid the pinewood, palm trees, cedars and junipers where silence, shade and peace prevail. The soft trickling of its small waterfall lulls and relaxes the senses. The pagoda bar, is available for refreshing drinks and small brunches.

At the Thalassotherapy Center and SPA wellness professionals and qualified staff pamper our Guests with all the treatment and cures necessary to rediscover health, well-being and harmony. The ancient art of massage is performed here by expert hands and combined with modern western techniques to encourage total physical and psychological regeneration. Massages like Shiatzu, Thai, Aromatherapy and Scen Tao exploit the calming and revitalizing properties of essential oils to improve circulation and tone the skin. Our Wellness Center is also a real “SPA - Salus Per Aquam ”, meaning “health through water”. Sea water is our extraordinary resource and we fetch it 900 meters from the coast to give our Guests a wide selection of thalassotherapic treatments like hydro-massages with algae or salts, underwater hydro-massages, jet showers, horizontal sea rain showers and many more.

The Center integrates and completes the benefits obtained through thalassotherapy with an array of beauty treatments for both men and women selected with special attention to the Guest's individual needs and skillfully applied using a high quality range of beauty products derived also from sea water, seaweed and sea water derivatives. Personalized SPA packages which combine Thalassotherapy and Beauty treatments are available on request to assure each Guest with the best approach to his/her requirements.

Fitness lovers will enjoy the modern exercise equipment of our Gym, the intense pleasure of the naturally lighted Finnish Sauna, the purifying steam and trickling water of the mosaic Roman Bath and Hammam, and finally rest sipping fruit juices in the Relaxation Room where colors, soft music and lighting reproduce the typical peacefulness of the Tuscan landscape.

Under the setting of a spectacular grotto, our five thalasso pools provide the basis of modern Thalassotherapy. Each pool contains sea water taken at 900 meters from the coast and heated at various temperatures according to each pool's specific purpose and features. The Main Pool is heated at a 35° C. This temperature allows the skin to better absorb the minerals anddissolve the salts in the water. There is also: The Hydro-massage and Shower Pool, The Kneipp Vascular Pool, The Cross-Current Pool, and The Emotional Pool: Set in a smaller separate grotto, this pool is a haven of intense relaxation. Soft colored lighting, underwater music system and the higher salinity improves the floatation and the relaxing effect.

Medical Check Up is not compulsory but recommended. If requested a non-specialist medical examination can be booked before arrival at the cost of € 40,00 to be paid directly at the SPA. In some cases, the SPA Manager can require a medical certificate of good health before authorizing thalassotherapic treatments so it is advisable to bring one along and present it upon arrival.
