At the centre of a large 200 hectare farming estate which cultivates mainly vineyards and olives, this holiday accommodation is set on a hill overlooking eastern Sicily. The area was originally a large feudal estate, sold between the 19th and the 20th century and partially subdivided until 1974 when it was bought by the Bonanno family, prince of Linguaglossa. In 1990 the estate was purchased by the current owners who in 2002 completed the restoration of the 14th century estate´s typical Sicilian residential nucleus, building 14 pleasant guest rooms furnished with Sicilian furniture. The structure, particular architectural value, is composed of various buildings set around an internal courtyard, a typical feature of the wealthiest and most fertile feudal estates.
