Ancient villa - tracing back to the end of the nineteenth century - placed inside of a beautiful countryside estate in the outskirts of Patti, 60 Km on the western side of Messina, and exactly along the road leading to the ancient Roman-Greek town of Tindari, founded in 396 B.C.. The residence has been recently restored and divided in two comfortable and independent apartments but still preserves all the architectural features of its age: high ceilings with decorated vaults, pavements made out of cement and upholstered with decorations, large wood ingot doors. The accommodation available for the guests is at the "piano nobile" and has modern style furnishings made up of functional and comfortable furniture. The nearby lodging is reserved for the owners who only occasionally dwell into it. From the large terrace equipped with garden furniture one enjoys either a lovely view to the countryside all around with its laurel plants, citrus fruit and olive groves and - last but not least - a suggestive foreshortening of the gulf with the Aeolian Islands silhouetting on the horizon. The villa is settled in a quiet and sunny location even though a stretch of motorway runs in the distance (over 500 metres away).
