Travelling south from Ostuni, the famous town whose white houses overlook the Adriatic coast, the long, straight road leads to the small town of Ceglie Massapica 4kms and a beautiful panorama unfolds over the plains of the area of Alto Salento. This farm is set in the midst of very old olive groves bordering on a typical mediterranean wood of holm-oak and cork trees, where visitors can relax or follow the signposted exercise circuit and even pick mushrooms at certain times of year. Isabella and her husband, the friendly owners, have restored the farm and created a particularly pleasant atmosphere: the charming courtyard with a great olive tree in the centre and the white stone walls evoke a sense of historic importance and traditions. The rooms overlook the courtyard while the three apartments with veranda face a second courtyard with small garden. The tasteful furnishings heighten the beauty of the farm´s building (arches, vaulted ceilings etc..) whose original style has been maintained. In the evening, strolling through the delightfully illuminated courtyard, guests will find it hard to resist the delicious traditional dishes specially prepared by Isabella.
