This old 18th century country house, 30kms from Lecce and only 2kms from the sea, is set in the green countryside of Salento. It has been beautifully restored and its original features maintained. The complex holds 22 comfortable guest rooms with en suite facilities. All simply furnished with TV, fridge-bar and hairdryer. There is a restaurant which serves delicious Puglia cuisine and a lovely swimming pool (11 x 21 m. - open June/12th Sept.) The complex is close to a famous Salento seaside resort, a resort which has earned the European Union´s ´Blue Flag´, awarded for untainted beaches and clear, unpolluted sea. The climate here is especially mild, with a pleasant sea breeze which, together with the nearby pinewood and deep blue of the sea, make this one of the world´s most beautiful beaches. Nearby are several archaeological sites (Roca Veccia, Acaja, Otranto, Lecce) and several prehistoric grottos (Zinizilusa Grotto, the ´Approdo di Enea´ - the Grotto of Aeneas´s Landing).
