This farmhouse is on the outskirts of the town of Saluzzo, approximately 30kms from Cuneo. The square-shaped building encloses a large courtyard surrounded by what were once the houses, stables, barn and outbuildings. One corner is home to the owners, previously the residence of the Prior of the Cistercian Monks who originally owned the estate. One part of the building was transformed into a charming hotel in 2006 while the south-facing part now offers holiday accommodation in 9 comfortable guest rooms and 1 small one-room apartment. The rooms, all with satellite Tv, Internet connection and phone, have terracotta floors while some have wooden ceiling beams and vaulted ceilings. Furnishings are a perfect combination of period and modern furniture and the interior décor reflects the bright colours of the surrounding countryside.
