CAR RENTAL INFORMATION:

• To pick-up a rental car, you must possess a valid driver’s license for at least one year and be at least 25 years old for all categories. All renters and drivers must meet Hertz’s standard qualifications, which may be changed from time to time at Hertz’s discretion. Young driver surcharge €15,00 per day, exclusive of tax, maximum charge of €150,00 excluding tax. Maximum age: no limit
• Second-driver must meet all above requirements. No charge.
• Reservations will only be confirmed by car category and not by car model within a category.
• Car rental is based on 24-hour cycle.
• Extensions/Upgrades/Extras: An extension on the rental period, upgrade to a larger car, and any extras (fines, gas, etc.) requested locally, are subject to local rates and taxes paid locally.
• No refund under any circumstances, the voucher value or part thereof after commencement of the rental
• Ski Racks €52,00 plus tax per rental. Tire chains €7,00 plus tax per rental and baby seats €55,00 plus tax per rental are on request and available at supplements stated (VAT tax included).
• GPS navigator: €12,00 per day, €60,00 per week (forfait 5/7 days), €8,50 extra day for a maximum of 21 days. Hourly extension charge €18 per rental.
• Oil and Maintenance: Expenses for oil and maintenance repair if any are refunded upon presentation of receipts, PROVIDED that prior authorization has been obtained from the local agent.
• Refuelling charge: €15,00 plus tax will be charged in addition to cost of fuel used, for vehicles picked up with a full tank and dropped off without the same quantity of fuel.
• Blackout period may apply. Car must be returned to renting location or other rates may apply. Rates available at participating locations. No drop-off charges on car groups B, C, D, E, F and N
• Deposit by credit card or cash €700,00
• A credit card is required upon pick-up
• Optional extra: Delivery and Collection - on request within the city €18,00 plus tax at 20%. Outside €1,00 plus tax, per km. Min. €18,00 plus tax.
• Restrictions may apply where the renter wishes to take the vehicle from one country to another. This must be checked at time of reservation.
• The vehicle must be returned to the agreed Hertz rental locations within normal business hours of the location concerned. If a vehicle is returned outside of these hours, the renter must comply with the out of hours return instructions for that location, and indicate on the rental agreement the date and time (hours and minutes) when the vehicle is returned.
• Force Majeure: Hertz shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under the agreement arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
• Rent it here, leave it there (RIHLIT): Domestic/international - Standard RIHLIT policies apply, unless otherwise stated. Check at time of reservation.

CANCELLATION CHARGES: A $50.00 penalty will be charged for under $1,000.00 paid, or $100.00 penalty for over $1,000.00 paid, for cancellations made prior to departure and no-shows.

GRACE PERIOD: Rates allow 29 minutes delay in returning the car. The price of one day’s rental + taxes is charged after half an hour.

RENTAL RATES: Herein are based on the exchange rate at the time of printing and are subject to change without notice.

TRAFFIC FINES/ADMIN FEES: Traffic fines are charged directly to the customer. An additional admin charge for traffic violation/fines will apply (e.g. parking/speeding tickets).
