- Administration fee €125 in case of loss or theft of car keys, €50 dealing of the car accident file, €30 dealing of the administrative profiles of the violation of the Italian "Codice della Strada" (highway code)
- PAI €10 per day (maximum compensation €51.645,69
- SPAI minimum €12,50 maximum €18,00 per day (split into 4 levels. Each level is based on a different and higher maximum indemnifiable sum compared to the normal PAI policy)
MINIMUM/MAXIMUM AGE & DRIVING LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum age 21 to 24 years old for all vehicles. Minimum age for groups B, T is 18 to 20 years. Young driver charge €18 per day for 18 year old, €12 per day for 19-20 years old. Age 21-24 €12 per day maximum charge up to 10 days. Maximum age no limit. Minimum driving licence period 1 year. Driver must present valid driving licence at time of rental. Non-European country driving licence and licence written in any different alphabet than latin (ie. Cyrillic, Arabic, etc.) is not accepted unless accompanied by a valid international driving licence or official translation. Non-original documents cannot be accepted.
ONE-WAY, DELIVERY AND COLLECTION, AFTER HOURS:
One-way: Domestic €50. Minimum 3 rental days. Rentals beginning in in continental Italy (Sicily included) and ending in Sardinia and viceversa are on request at €150. International fee (see international oneway plan). Minimum 5 rental days. Cross-border driver restriction €5 charge. Transit allowed into Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary and Czech Republic only with car groups B, T, W, L, F, O, R, Y, P except VW, BMW and Mercedes models. It is not allowed to drive into Albania, Bulgaria, Estonia, Greece, Iraq, Morocco, Poland, Iran, Slovak Republic, Romania, Tunisia.
General delivery and collection during office hours: charge may apply for pick up at courtesy point locations. Hotel deiviery during office hours: €20 on request and within city limits. Outside city limits €1.50/km.
After hours charge: General charge, airport, downtown, railway €25 on request.
EQUIPMENT:
- Child (4-7 yrs), toddler (1-3 yrs), infant (0-12 mo) seat €40 per rental. Replacement charge €60 for child seat, €25 for toddler/infant seat.
- Navigation System €12 per day, on request. Maximum charge of 20 days equal to €200 per month. Available only at certain locations.
- Security life jacket included in rate. If not returned, fee of €16.
- Ski Racks €35. Replacement fee €60.
- Snow chains €40. Replacement fee €60.
OTHER INFORMATION:
- Refuelling charge: €15 if vehicle is returned with more than 5 litres of fuel missing, plus the cost of refilling tank.
- Full tank option: Client can opt to buy a full tank of gas at time of pick-up in order not to pay refuelling charge. No refunds for unused fuel.
- Cash/Credit card deposit minimum €500 per rental
- Cedit cards accepted: AMEX, EUROCARD, VISA, DINERS, ACCESS. Debit cards not accepted.
- Grace period: 30 minutes grace after 24 hours are up (whole day rental).
