This 6 hectare farm, only 4kms from the Mirabilandia theme park, is situated between the coast of Romagna (10kms) and Ravenna (10kms). Originally a fortified monastery, in the mid-19th century it became the residence of the noble Manzoni family from Milan. In 1994 it was purchased by Massimo, a member of the sailing crew of the famous yacht ´Moro di Venezia´, which competed in 1992 in the international yachting race, the America´s Cup. A farm holiday location since 2000, its rooms, with their original old floors and hand-painted oak beams, still contain some fascinating pieces of antique furniture. The four guest rooms and three suites are all tastefully furnished and offer a comfortable and peaceful environment. Following Massimo´s friendly and expert advice guests can try some of the excellent traditional Romagna dishes accompanied by the farm´s own superb wines: the red ´Teresa´ and white ´La Fiamma´. There is a delightful sitting room and winter garden for restful interludes in total comfort, a conference room and a garden all round the house, a cool shady wooded area and above-ground round swimming pool (5 x 5 m. - open May/Sept.) with Jacuzzi. Dog owners can allow their pets to romp on the one hectare fenced lawn and, with the help of the farm´s experts, can train their four-legged friends in a fun environment.
