Day 1: Havana
Arrive at Jose Marti International Airport in Havana. Meet and greet and transfer to the Acuario Hotel in Havana. Check in. Dinner at the hotel. (D)
Day 2: Havana
Breakfast. After breakfast take a city tour of old and modern Havana. Visits include Arms Square, Museum of the city, The Cathedral Square and Palacio de Artesaníam plus entrance to the Rum Museum Habana Club with one welcome cocktail. The tour continues to the Plaza de la Revolucion with time for pictures and to San Cristobal Colon Cemetery. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. After lunch in the afternoon free time to walk and further explore the old city. Return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel. (B/L/D) OPTIONAL: TROPICANA.
day 3: Havana
Breakfast. Departure to Vinales Valley in Pinar del Rio Province, Brief City tour of Pinar del Rio. Visit a Cigar factory and a Rum Factory. Transfer to Vinales. Stop for pictures at the lookout at Los Jazmines Hotel. Continue the journey to visit the Prehistoric Mural. Stop for lunch at a Cuban specialty restaurant in the area. After lunch visit the Indian Cave with the opportunity to take a boat ride along the cavernous underground river. Return to Havana city. Dinner at the hotel. (B/L/D)
Day 4: Havana/Cienfuegos
Breakfast. Depart for Guama. Stop along the way to visit Montemar National Park that includes a visit to the crocodile farm and Fiesta Campesina. Lunch at Pio Cua restaurant. The trip continues to Cienfuegos, brief city tour, crossing the Prado Promenade. After the brief tour, check in at the Faro Luna Hotel. Relax and get ready for dinner. (B/L/D)
Day 5: Cienfuegos/Santa Clara
Breakfast. City tour of Cienfuegos. Visit Palacio del Valle and Terry Theatre. Lunch at Club Cienfuegos. After lunch departure to Santa Clara. City tour of Santa Clara, visiting Che Guevara Memorial, Armoured Train, Vidal Park. Overnight accommodations and dinner at La Granjita Villa. (B/L/D)
day 6: Santa Clara/Trinidad/ Sancti Spiritus
Breakfast. Depart for Trinidad. City Tour of Trinidad visiting the Romantic Museum, Plaza Mayor, La Canchanchara, a typical bar. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. Continue to Sancti Spiritus on the way visit Valle de los Ingenios Stop in Sancti Spiritus for an overnight stay at Rancho Hatuey. Dinner at the hotel (B/L/D)
Day 7: Sancti Spiritus/ Camaguey
Breakfast. Depart for Camaguey. City tour of Camaguey with visits to Ignacio Agramonte and La Trova House. Lunch will be in a typical restaurant in the area. Overnight accommodations at Gran Hotel Camaguey or similar. Dinner at the hotel. (B/L/D)
Day 8: Camaguey/Bayamo/ Santiago de Cuba
Breakfast. Depart to Bayamo. City tour of Bayamo. The journey continues to Santiago, on the way visit Basilica del Cobre. City tour of Santiago de Cuba with visits to Antonio Maceo Revolution Square, 26th July Museum, Cespedes Square and the Morro Castle. Lunch held in the area. Dinner and accommodation at the Melia Santiago Hotel. After dinner enjoy the show at the Santiago Café. (B/L/D)
Day 9: Santiago de cuba/ Holguin
Breakfast. The tour ends, a choice to extend the trip or transfer to the Santiago airport for the departure flight.
OPTION: Extend the stay in Santiago de Cuba OR Depart to Guardalavaca Beach and select one of several Beach Hotels for a few days or another week. |
