The Hotel Saratoga opened its doors again in 2005 on the original site of the old hotel in the 30’s. Located on the privileged corner of Prado Avenue and Dragones Street; it is just in front of the National Capitol and Fraternity Park, and near the Partagas cigar factory and the Grand Theatre of Havana. The old hotel was part of the cultural life of its time in a zone called “Aires Libres” of Old Havana. The new elegant neoclassic construction, supervised by the Historical Office of the City of Havana, engulfed the original façade and added two more “facade line windows” for a total outer appearance of five floors, but the inside structure has eight floors. The new construction boasts a central vestibule, large French windows, and a magnificent 270-degree panoramic terrace-view. To the north you see the Bay of Havana and the “San Carlos de la Cabaña” old fortress and to the southwest a panoramic view of the National Capitol and Old Havana.

There is a swimming pool on the rooftop with a snack bar and banquet facilities for up to 60 persons. A business center is located at the mezzanine with four computers, one fax machine, and 3 small meeting rooms. This business centre and all rooms have direct Internet access.
