Near the Amalfi Coast (Positano 15kms) this ancient 17th century Benedictine monastery offers guests a magnificent view over Sorrento 15kms and the Gulf of Naples. In the central part, or ´Foresteria´, four guest rooms have been restored on the first floor, furnished with care and simplicity with antique furniture. 4 comfortable rooms with private bathroom were been restored in 2005. These rooms, one showing an authentic fresco dating back to 1700, were traditionally the friars´ cells. Guests can enjoy breakfast in the large kitchen with its precious original 16th-17th century maiolica tiles and magnificent fireplace, or in the sun overlooking the orange groves and the sea.
