Part of an old feudal estate, belonging for generations to the current owners´ family, this 320 hectare estate is sheltered by the Appennine mountain range behind (25kms) and faces the Gulf of Squillace (7kms). The fascinating upland landscape displays a stunning range of colours, from the silvery greens of the olive groves to the typical multi-coloured shades of the Mediterranean vegetation and is a splendid frame to the proverbial Calabrian hospitality, ensuring an all-round holiday with relaxation, the sea and cultural attractions. Near the mountains of the Sila Piccola, a large nature park, are the interesting archaeological sites and the Byzantine cathedral of Borgia. Not far is the Castella with its Marine Reserve and beautiful Aragon castle which stands on a small peninsula only a few metres from the beach, and Capocolonna where visitors can admire the ´colonna ´ (pillar) the remains of an ancient temple and the city of Crotone (45kms) important centre of Magna Graecia era.
